This is up there for me with Yaconelli's contemplative youth ministry in terms of its significance. I love it and the challenge it embodies. It challenges the sometimes panicked programme activity mode that we go into sometimes in youthwork. When I look back at my own story it's not the awesome sessions we had or amazing talks that I remember, it's people and their commitment to me. Yet so often we stray from being those people to the youth we work with.
